Typically, procedures take about 10-15 minutes, but plan on your visit to last for approximately an hour. Please wear loose, easy fitting clothing. Bring a ride with you if you are asked to do so. You may be asked to take an anti-anxiety medication prior to your appointment.
You will be taken into the procedure room, where vital monitors will be applied. Your blood pressure, heart rate and oxygen saturation rate will be checked before, during and after the procedure.
You may have numbness in one or both of your extremities depending on the type of procedure performed, which could last 8-12 hours.
